Sunday, December 04, 2005 4:46 PM
Well I was just putting my 2.6 on......and well......the thing is grinding on the snout.......SO I'm thinking that I possibly got the 2.5 instead of the 2.6....

Did any of you guys have to grind down the snout for the 2.6????

Help! I need more boost lol

Oh and actually i ground the pulley not the supercharger... thought if i ruin a $60 pulley over a $2800 supercharger it would be better ....

Well I sent an email to Brian@ pulley boys and he gave me the option of returning it for a refund or helping him by fitting mine on and sending it back to him for him to recut the pulley. So I am going to help him with that....I'll keep everyone posted.

It will fit over the snout of the supercharger, but very tightly.... i only grinded my 2.5" pulley... and i just talked to Brian now and will be sending him the measurements he needs either tomorrow or on the week end, so he should have every thing fixed up soon, i still strongly recomond the pulleys from pulley boys....

I have a 2.4" on my S/C. I just removed some material from the S/C snout. Fits great.

Its the QC for the GTP. Due to a pluged cat and factory manifold, and shot internals i have only let it go to 8 PSI so far (my bypass actuator was smashed a long time ago and i have a cable to open and close the valve). I also have HO cams and a ported head so my results will be different from a stock engine.
