went to the dyno at automotion in louisville ky. they have a MUSTANG dynomometer....with the gm charger on a 96 w/ no reflash i put down 156hp/179tq to the wheels..... which doesnt sound right at all...also it said that i was running 17.5 a/f ratio that they determined by sticking a probe 3 inches up my exhaust pipe....but my wideband that i have is screwed into the straight pipe where the cat used to be and it tells me at WOT i am 11.2.... im confused....
12's......here i come
have 320cc rc injectors, apexi safc II, aem wideband kit......
12's......here i come
thats MESSED......
check your plugs ??? are you misfiring ??? that sounds so off.. it's really scary....
I'd not even run my car after that.... I'd pull it off and check EVERYTHING .....
156 is something like 20 more then stock for a z24........
sounds like the dyno could be off

Mustang dyno's are not the best for numbers.
As for the Air/fuel. Are you sure your wideband is set up right? How are you getting fuel under boost? I know you llisted injectors and SAFC, but what give the fuel under boost?
Like said pull the plugs how do they look. If you are really at a 17.5 your motor will not stay together long.
FU Tuning
you said its 3 inches up your exhaust pipe? Is that after your catalytic converter? that could be it...
no, i have my cat cut off and a straight pipe in place of it.....the w/b sensor is in the middle of the pipe ........
12's......here i come
also the way they had me pull it on the dyno..... i got it up to 35mph in 3rd gear and punched it all the way to 80 and let off.........
12's......here i come
A dyno pull is not by the speed its by the gear, so if that was you 1:1 gear then thats normal. A Mustang Dyno reads lower then a Dynojet but is more accuarate since it works on a load. But dont get hung up on dyno #'s, they mean nothing. It is how you car performs and what you can run at the track. A 1000 hp supra still only hits 10's at the track

Man my buddy dynoed his GM Supercharged Cavy at like 205whp with only one size down pulley 2.7" and we are at a very high elevation... there for being lowerd numbers then most people on here
The First Twin Charged jbody
blue car (R.I.P) - 240whp @7psi..
silver car - 305whp 315lbs.tq @15psi (91 Octane) or 420whp & 425lbs.TQ @20psi (94 octane+Alcohol Injection)
All dynos run on a Mustang dyno
i have no afpr, nor FMU as of yet...but im working on it.... my megan racing cat back ships tomorrow....also, when i drive the car my aem w/b tells me at WOT my a/f is like 11.2-12.3...... at cruise 14.7-15.5.... and at idle it goes 15.0-18.0.....i think my iac valve is messed up cuz at idle it is very choppy and bounces from 600 rpms to 1100 rpms. i have an egr code and bad 02 sensor as well...
12's......here i come

Wrong. Mustang Dynos typically read about 20 horsepower lower than say a DynoJet because they are MORE accurate. They take into account other variables that other dynos do not. I practically work at my local shop that runs an AWD mustang dyno and I helped install the dyno when it was shipped in. Now I can't exactly vouch for his AFR numbers because I don't know or see the car in front of me, but you can't convince me that Mustang Dynos all read wrong. Now, Mustang Dyno WAS having some trouble with a software release with their computer systems that would read abnormally high or abnormally low. We dyno'd a basically stock 04 WRX and it made 228 whp. Even the Sti's shouldn't hit that high in WHP. After a phone call to Mustang Dyno, they sent new software and it finally started reporting more accurate numbers. But not all shops running Mustang Dynos experienced or noticed this error.

Another case of a boosted 96 J having issues go figure. You cannot get accurate readings of your a/f raio after your cat. So pull it in place of a test pipe specifically for That Reason (TEST PIPE) for track or dyno use.. . Also the safc is for pulling small amounts of fuel and really not made for adding anything. Good luck but I think you are cursed from the get go for having a boosted 96 sorry.

looks like he DOES have a test pipe

i have no issues with my 96 being boosted.(just have to clear a check engine light for the egr code, but it runs perfect.)
so basically your set up just has bigger injectors, 2 check engine lights and your car runs like $hit. No wonder why them #"S are low.
Basically, sounds like another half a$$'d boosted set up to me.
good luck
i think im going to swap to a 99 PCM.....
12's......here i come
if u are going to swap to a 99 ecu. go to a 2k+ ecu as u have to basically rewire the whole car, same work is needed to do both computer /wiring swap.
or just fix your EGR @!#$ that isn't working. I take it that's all you are trying to accomplish by swapping PCM's. Also, the 96's are still batch fire injection, not sequential. Just get your car tuned properly and running right, and then throw it back on the dyno.

my cav idled with a pulse , like your saying yours does
before i got my pcm reflashed , the s/c adds a load to the motor , which will cause some of that pulse
o2 problem = 1 reason for the possibility of the low #'s
