Alright guys and gals, my wastegate finally came in today after about a month of waiting. So tomorrow I am running to get the last few things I need. Heres what my setup consist of:
-Johnny Race Car Front Mount Intercooler
-2.5 Inch Aluminum Charge Piping
-1G DSM BOV
-Tial 38mm Wastegate
-Manifold
-GM 2 Bar MAP Sensor
-GM Reflash
-GM 310cc Injectors
-New Plugs Gaped to .035
-Synthetic Motor Oil
-Faze Boost Guage
-Garrett T3/T4 Turbo
Now tomorrow I plan on picking up the lines for my oil and then my downpipe and flange are waiting for me to pick them up. My question is I was told a way that I could tap the pan and I would not have to pull it? Does anybody know if this is possible if so what do I need to buy? And finally does this setup sound like it will work. My wastegate is set for about 10psi and I am going to putts it until I can get like a 4-5psi one? By the way the motor is still on stock internals with about 85,000 and has had an oil change every 3,000. Thanks in advance and I will post pics asap.

I saw this on trucks I don't know if I would do it, but they had a a bit that tapped wile it was drilling. They then drainned all the oil and filled it back up.
horsepower is how hard you hit the wall, Torque is how far you push the wall with you
You need to pull the pan if you're going to tap it.
No way around it.

Slowly but surely may some day win this race...
All right I am going to try and get the .40 bar spring from a shop here in my town tomorrow to lower the psi some. So does anybody see any problems with the setup? The last thing I want is to blow my motor. Like I said before it would be the Gm 310cc injectors, 2 bar map and the reflash for my fuel and boost mods? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
