there kind of big for preety much any project we could put together. execept for the last 2. youl find that most of the guys on hear stay away from the monster style in substituite of a well performeing small one.

you might have a sale on the second to last one but JRC sells preety much the same IC for a bout 9 dollars less.

but if anyone wanted to do a great sleeper you could use the side mount with a quite bov.

Is this the same Chinese crap that's being sold on eBay or does an actual quality-driven company produce these?

Probably the Chinese crap since you're not saying who makes them.

Should a problem occur due to defect, Yonaka Motorsports will, at the company's discretion, either repair or replace the product at no charge. Damage to the product resulting from an accident, neglect, or normal wear and
tear will, at our discretion, be repaired or replaced for a modest fee.

Original Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. If a warranty claim is needed, purchaser should send product prepaid to Yonaka Motorsports.

Please note that all warranty claims must first be issued an RMA number (return merchandise authorization) BEFORE item is returned to Yonaka Motorsports. RMA numbers can be obtained by calling toll-free at 1-800-824-4852.

Please remember we do not accept shipments sent "collect". Products returned to us with freight charges owing or without a valid RMA number will be refused and returned to sender.

very interested with this GP if it goes through, especially since you're based in Canada
Those are great prices.

Robbie c, STFU. you're shooting down someone who is trying to give us great prices on intercoolers. Guys like you are the reason vendors never stay long in the j community but give up. We should welcome him not tell him that his intercoolers are junk without even knowing anything about them.

I bought new headlight bulbs from a company once. PlasmaIndustries.com... They had a LIFETIME GUARANTEE. They went out of business. No clue how long they had been in business. Probably not as long as Yonaka. Yonaka looks like a decent company. Lots of products offered. If Yonaka doesn't own up to the lifetime warranty policy (which is highly unlikely), you're stuck as the middleman. The bad guy. The one that customers complain to. That sucks!

Ty has lowered the prices at JohnnyRaceCar.com. A 6" FMIC with a 25"x5.875"x2.75" core is only $185, shipped. Granted, his are "tube and fin" intercoolers, but they perform VERY well for our applications. Both fitment- and performance-wise. Alot of people on this site are using them, including myself.

I'm not telling anyone to cheap out on an intercooler or neglect getting one in the first place! But... JRC FMIC's have a dirt-cheap price tag, are already consistently proven as being reliable, and works perfect for our aftermarket turbo setups. Most people do research before buying a product, and user reviews will make or break a sale. Prospective buyers will think, "I've seen 20 turbo'd Cavaliers and Sunfires on J-body with those johnnyracecar intercoolers. They must work pretty good! I can save a ton of money. I'll get a johnnyracecar intercooler!". On top of your higher intercooler price, you also have a shipping charge.

Apart from the Yonaka FMIC's possibly performing as good as any other brand of intercooler, if the price isn't right, the group purchase just won't go. I realize you are offering the bar and plate design, but it's really all just a matter of personal preference.

Being in the wholesale/retail trade myself, if you can't offer a low enough price, give up and try to sell something else. The problems here are: In order to get a lower price to be competitive with JRC, you will need to sell more intercoolers initially. In order to sell more intercoolers, you will need more interested J-owners willing to go turbo. In order to have J-owners order intercoolers through your GP, they need to be a serious buyer instead just "putting their name on the list". In most GP's, 60% of the buyers are serious. The other 40% thought it was a good price and wanted to 'get in' in case the product actually sold dirt cheap! Then either 1) The GP dies or 2) The seller sells to the remaining serious buyers and might possibly be taking a loss on profit because they can't buy from the manufacturer as cheap as they thought they could. Look in the Group Purchase Forum. I bet you'll find at least 10 on the first page that didn't work. Why? Not enough buyers or they found it cheaper elsewhere.

Read this carefully: I'm only trying to save you the trouble. And as a business, you should already know that time is money. I'd LOVE to see more companies offer aftermarket parts for our cars. It's just so damn hard. When you start up a company, you gotta start up big. Selling one thing at a time now won't build a strong reputation for the future. Look at Frank with Maximum Boost. I'm just trying to help you out.

Last but not least:
If you see enough interest in these things and you start the GP, I hope they sell like hotcakes! Good luck man.
