ok few questions...
Tuesday, November 22, 2005 10:09 PM
Ok Ive decided to just go turbo instead of getting the gm charger for the reflash. I know the basics about tuning and everything but my question is. Am I going to need a check valve since the stock map sensors doesnt see boost. Im only going to do like 5 to 10psi intercooler so is a msd ignition control going to be needed? The turbo im planning on going with is a t3 super 60 till i rebuild the motor.

I'd do the .63 turbine a/r honestly. Do a PnP and secret cams and it'll be sweeeeeeeeeeeet

well there's a lot of room between .42 and .63 a/r lol but the .63 would be my recommendation at this point

look up speedracerz. he is in your area and can get the computer reflashed with the GM s/c program. he has done a bunch.

then u would need the gm s/c map sensor and maybe the injectors and you are off to a good start.

and exploited racing is down there in west allis. he could help you out.

Just get your PCM reflashed to the GM s/c program, along with the injectors and map sensor from the kit as well and you won't need a check valve on the map or the MSD to pull timing, or other fuel mods.
