im getting a turbo for my 04 ecotech and was wondering if anyone has already boosted an ecotech on stock internals. im looking for a recommended psi on stock internals on an inter cooled turbo . thanks
Yea, that dong Hypsy did. Im sure he will post in here soon.
its not like its too hard to find all the posts from me and suncavi. weve both run 15+PSI stock.
I love how searching has become non-existant. its great. why dont we just have dave take the button away since no one uses it anyways.
I used to race cars, now I race myself.
5K PB: 24:50
10K PB: 54:26

To newbies it's dead. I still use it quiet a bit.
i do sometimes. but then i get bored of looking thru all the posts. my favorite is when some one starts a new post with out even looking at whats there. same topic two posts down (not this one)
i still am waiting for some to blow it up. if you don't push it to 20
i hit 20+ psi a couple of times
***Need an '00 or up Cavalier shell...stock prefered...email me and make an offer***

Boost away bro don't target a psi
target a hp that will not break your
connecting rods.
Power that doesn't break connecting rods is not the "proper" power level to run at. Engines don't either just live or break, they degrade and deteriorate in proportion to how severely you're exceeding the engines design limits (which we don't really know and can only guess at). People way too often look at engines like what doesn't snap the rods is ok to run daily..
Well yeah which is why i personally
leave a little cushion between the
breaking point and the safe point
so i get some (not too much) longevity
out of the engine.
Just run at 10psi.
I can't make up my freaking mind!!!!
