I'm interested in purchasing a Greddy Turbo Timer. They are basically universal, correct? I know they come with a harness...can I actually use the harness on my vehicle. Excuse the boost newbie question.
I'd greatly appreciate your help.

That pretty much covers it. The greddy timers I've seen in the past have 4 wires. Power, Ground, E-Brake, and Ignition.
Here are a couple of installs, not on J-body's but just to get the idea:
TT install
VR4 Timer Install
Here's the install diagram:
check out greddys website and go under tech support. and just look thru the stuff for the info your looking for. I checked to make sure but i saw basically the info you were looking for so it should give you the rest of the input your looking for. If not im sure someone else would come in and correct me or add to it lol. I know some cause i helped my brother install his turbo timer but it was a hks i beleive but that got stolen so he put in a greddy one now

Do you have an alarm for your car???
If not, you could purchase an alarm w/ a turbo timer feature..
I can program my viper for 1 minute, 3, and like 10 I think.
To be honest with you the turbo timer was a super simple install. Their is a couple of wires kinda the same as a amplifier. A power, a ground, a switched, a e-brake wire, and a passthrough wire. If you have an auto you ground the e-brake wire. all you have to do is interupt the brown wire after your ignition. i this tapped into the ignition harness, and put the wire their .
horsepower is how hard you hit the wall, Torque is how far you push the wall with you
OK, thanks everybody for your help.
FYI, I have an auto with a stock alarm system.
