Jtuners and Cometic have finally released the MLS gaskets for the 2200 motors. They have gaskets available in .030 for N/A and .074 for boosted applications and the price is unbeatable!

No! i do care but ive seen the ones for the ecotec but they are some sweet gaskets. high quality and i like the different thickness' that they offer. Thanks for the update.

It just makes me smile because I don't want to have to O-ring my @!#$ and I don't trust copper gaskets (like JBP's)

I've heard that copper gaskets aren't that good..is this true or a myth?

They serve a purpose and they work well... when the block or head are O-ringed. Without o-ringing, no seal.

I don't mind the fact that I have the least recognized engine. The end results for waiting will pay for themselves instantaneously.

Screw that, I've had my SCE copper gasket for years. I don't mind the o-ring, it sounds like the best possible seal to me. Heck, Adler and Mike K both ran copper gaskets without problems, right?
