hahn 2200 turbo kit
Tuesday, November 08, 2005 4:08 PM
Any one here have the hahn 2200 turbo kit? It looks like its the best kit for our cars, plus I have friends with DSM's and they swere by hah. Just wish it came with a bigger turbo. Ive ben reading these forums for about three years now so I'm not a total idiot. But can I get bye with an adjustable fmu ( the pic looks like the kit comes with a cartech) injectors, msd dis, and a afc. I only whant to run 8-10 psi. The stand alone systems are a little 2 complicated for my Redneck brain. I'm usedto building V8's and there simple. Need more fuel just slap on a bigger carb or bigger jets.

Yeah I've seen your regestry and looked at your car domain sight a couple of times. I already have the rsm intake manifold, thriottle body, and 3 inch cat back. Well right now i dont have a cat or resignator. I'm just trying to figure out what turbo kit to get. The two I like the most are the hahn stage 2 and the maximum boost stage 3 kit. I also already have the msd dis 2, msd coil packs, stage 3 clutch, and lightend fly wheel.

Bang for the buck, I don't think you can beat JTuners.

the jtuners kit is nice butt it comes with no fuel system and i heard the down pipe is small. The hahn and maximum boost kits are the same price and they come with somewhat of a fuel system. I dont know. I'm not ordering my kit until april when my bonus gets here. I'm just trying to do all the research that i can till then, so i can make an educated decision on witch kit to bye. Any help yall can give me would be nice, and appreciated allot

i love my hahn kit. if you ask hyspy too, i think he will say the same
the standered turbo in their kit is a super16g.. upgradable to a 20g.. i think the 2200 kit comes with a 15g. if u order the kit, ask bill if he can give you a deal on an upgrade to a 16g. they ran a high 11 in a full weigh/emission legal sunfire ecotec with the 16g, so it should be more then enough to suit your needs.

yeah the standered kit with the fmu injecters and im not sure if the 2200 kit comes with a fuel pump like the eco.. ull be fine for 10psi. btw, if its the same as the eco kit, its a begi fmu not a cartech. u dont really need a dis. just a good tune.

I talked to some one at hahn it wasent bill. Butt they told me i couldnt upgrade the turbo to a 16g. Something about the bolt patterns where different. The hahn kit is the kit that i will end up getting.

the 15G and 16G are not swapable unfortunately. the housing bolt patterns are different and it would require a compltely new manifold and downpipe...and that aint happening for one person. LOL.

Shoot me an IM or email sometime and I can give you a price on the kit. I gotta call about a few other things tomorrow anyways.

Bang for buck? Jtuners. No disrespect for Hahn's kit, it's amazing, well designed. However, I am a Garrett turbo fan, and the Mitsu 16g doesn't make me cream like the sound of a T3. Plus Jtuner's manifold is purdier.

yeah i like the jtuners kit. the only problem is it is the same price as the hahn kit but no fuel mods come with it. yes my car is slow with the 3 inch exhaust, butt i have the silencer in the muffler so it helps a little bit.

add a resonator, subtract the silencer. you'll notice that all of a sudden it flows better
