ring gap

I'm in the process of building a motor with 8.9:1 compression pistons and was curious what some of you other guys were gapping your rings at. i did a search but didnt come up with anything. im going to be turbocharging it so i was worried about the extra heat causing the rings to expand more and possibly breaking a ring land. i just wanted to have some feedback to see what some of the other boosted guys had there rings gapped at. thanks in advance.

It depends on the type of piston you're using...

I think my wiseco's came with that information on the order sheet, did you get anything like that with your pistons?

Yeah, my Ross pistons came with a sheet as well, and you can alss find the info on their website. It is dependent on material composition and processing (varies by manufacturer) and intended usage.
