The only one you need to concentrate on is JTuners.

ahah yes.... but i dont wana make a big deal of it yet... so unless people see in here keep it quiet.... but it will start off with only a turbo and supercharger and then when i get the money again it will be a fully built engine, ported head and ported supercharger...

Josh im impressed Actually i've been shooting around this idea since before i got my s/c. My engine is now fully built and i have pretty much every mod i can get including the s/c. A couple weeks ago my shop and I began doing a mock up of a turbo kit on top of my s/c however more research needs to be done, the preliminary numbers dont really vote well for having this setup be as effective or as efficient as one would think, the GM s/c will only flow so much air and then the heat issues at this point pose a huge problem, even with an intercooler and alky injection the intake air is going to be alot hotter than normal not to mention the new issue of raised EGT's. Regardless im going to keep moving forward and hopefully by spring will have a working mock up to see if this will actually produce any solid numbers. Tuning is a whole new story im thinking theres really no way to do it except standalone. Anyways prop on the ingenuity man im right there with ya.

there shouldnt be that much more tuning involed should there? i mean the boost is all going into the same place... its more tuning the turbo to what boost it should be at...and picking the right sized turbo for what ever the CFM that the s/c'er is capable of..

As for cooling.. say i run 5psi of boost on the turbo...this isnt that high and with the intercooler it should cool it right down with the low boost... and the alcohol was cooling my supercharger VERY cold so the charged air temps shouldnt be all that bad?

and we also have the reflash that all the turbo people seem to love any way so that part should be fine... only thing different with my fuel i am doing is 440cc injectors, and the walbro high flow pump...

Josh whats a very cold iat in your opinion...

my buddys tsi is running -12 C IAT at idle with his stock intercooler.... how cold were you .... remember turbo is SUPER hot.... that is why when people ask if an intercooler is a must most people say YES ....

imo i would just switch over to a turbo kit, the only reason for keeping the SC on there would be for the bling factor, and im pretty sure you don't care to much about show. i think you would run alot more efficent and probably faster with just a nice turbo setup. not too mention selling the SC would pay for most of that turbo setup, with all the money left over you could build your motor up and run alot more boost

Derek - ahah yea you know me to well as i never go for just "show" stuff but in this case i kind of want to... and if you think about it with the supercharger ported it will be able to flow more any way... and im not going with a big turbo any way.. later on i might just convert it to a single turbo only set up.. but i want to see how this goes cuz think about it... the supercharger will to some extent pull the air threw the turbo spooling it faster... and the supercharger will still be there for off the line stuff.. but it dies down in top end stuff and by then the turbo will be spooled to finish it all off

Lee - not sure what i would say is cold at idle since i got no gauge for that... but i know turbos make HUGE! heat hence why i am doing every thing i can too cool it down...this set up will be hard to do.. but not only are me and my dad up for it.. but i have talked to people about the tuning and they are all for it ... so it will be fun

gut the s/c and use it as a huge intake manifold like GTP guys do..

and i am guessing they just pull the pulley end off and block it off?

well right now with all these calculations of air temp/pressure and 100's more that my dad is working on.. it will be around 275hp at the wheels with 7psi from the turbo and the stock 2.8" pulley on the supercharger (7psi from the turbo but a 2psi loss from the charge pipes)

And our problem is finding a turbo that flows enough air... none of the T3 turbos flow enough... were arent even close on the turbo maps for them.. I am looking for somthing that will flow 40 lbs/min at a compression ratio of 1.49...

I just don't get why? because like i said before my supercharger isn't even a restriction on this... actually its very hard to find a turbo that will flow enough air ..... and at 7psi on the turbo and the stock supercharger pulley i will be making like 270whp...where as if i blocked off the supercharger and had it as an intake and only 7psi on the turbo i even be close to 270hp

not to jack the post but the JTuners kit makes the engine bay look ugly.

I would imagine you would have some efficiency problems.........

get em figured out build that motor and run 450 hp ..... and SMOKE that srt-4 you raced.... that was you right josh ???

no one said it CANT be done, it would just be cheaper, and more than likely alot quicker by ditching the SC all together and building a nice turbo kit... but if thats what you want to do good luck, just think you would be much better off the other way
