Feeding it fuel... FMU question...
Saturday, October 22, 2005 5:40 PM
Basically. I want to know if it's fine to run a Cartech FMU on an otherwise stock 2.2L fuel system... Will it be compatible with the rest of the fuel system to supply the engine with the fuel it needs to run 4-6PSI of non-intercooled boost???

Or... Do I NEED larger injectors??? Will Z24 injectors work? And are they just plug and play?

Also.... Where the heck do I order a Cartech FMU for my car....? Are they vehicle specific, or do you have to buy a universal one... If so is there a specific one I need????

Any and all info appreciated.

j tuners has successfully been running a 2200 unintercooled for well over a year or more with stock injectors, IIRC.

(but an FMU)

Ok, I just E-mailed you BlackWidow.

Thanks for the message of hope Steve.. Hopefully all will run fine with just a FMU.
