Has anyone installed the HAHN racecraft turbo kit on thier ECOTEC?....if so what would you rate the difficulty in installing??? was there any fabrication involved b/c it didnt fit right??? any body have pics of it installed??? how was it to tune the motor??? abd did you have to have the ECU flashed????
I installed my own kit.
It wasn't too difficult. Nothing you can't pull off with some reasonable
mechanic skills.
You only really need to tap the oil pan which isn't that tough.
Tuning is a little tough and should be done by a professional on
a dyno.
No i haven't reflashed the computer see no need
i have the exact same answers as newman.
just take a look around and you'll see ive answer just about any question you could have about the kit somewhere on this site.
BTW...I LOVE my kit. just ran 12.83 on the basic stage 2 kit with just a little more boost
I used to race cars, now I race myself.

I'm still stuck between Turbo and Supercharger, especially since I autocross, i'll probably end up with supercharger since by the time boosts builds up, I will have to slow down. Oh and nice time(s) hypsy.
i love mine. my dad and i installed it in our garage. started thrusday morning and it was running sunday afternoon. easy kit. pretty much a bolt on. well made and designed. and hella fun.
13 psi and climbing......

not necessarily true. a properly sized turbo will work wonders.
