Directly swapping in 310cc injectors
Thursday, October 13, 2005 12:55 PM
ok so i have the 03 style fuel rail here and im my plan was to get the 2.4 gm supercharger injectors which are 310cc, is this going to run right or be basically a "bolt on" they arent that much larger than stock and im running 5-6psi on the stockers im leaning up to mid 14s on AFR, ive heard I may have to lower the base pressure, am I going to have any real problems just slapping them on without anything else done

you shouldn't. now you are talking about the GM 310cc injectors right? in which case... no they'll do the job perfect.

just check the length of them , but they should be a direct swap for the 03-05 injectors

they are..but with my experience they dont like high fuel pressures with an FMU....I would go with ford red tops if you want some 310-320cc injectors and those are a direct swap also...

^^ you shouldn't.. I would imagine the computer would pull injector pulsewidth to attain an acceptable idle. especially since these injectors aren't much larger than stock on ecotecs, it should be able to "adapt" to them...

..course I could be full of @!#$ and be totally wrong

I plan on using the 310cc injectors on my 2200 OHV when I go boosted as a stepping stone to 380cc or 440cc
