i just have a question...where can i find a good head with a valve job and springs, valves all the good stuff upgraded besides jbody performance cuz i think personally they are high priced...also what are good cams with my 99 boosted J. i really like the jbodyperformance head that gives you "33whp" which i wanted to do a cyl head but thats alil outa my range along with cams and cam gears...ne info

you could contact your local machine shops and see how much they charge, besides you would probably have to buy valve springs and valves etc. and then take it to them and have the work done, as for cams ive never looked into the jbp stuff im running ho cams, i know other people are running the "secret" swap, some are running the secret intake cam and ho cam, since to run ho cams you have to have the intake cam machined to have the power steering hex put in it and have a cam sensor pick up welded on

You want a Head reworked lets make a deal . I Did BlackZ2401's and it came out mint. Now if the JBP spring didnt f'n crack I wouldnt be doin the motor now. Just as a note just the spring had to be replaced and it would have been all good again. I would never recomend thier springs just for the hasel of instal alone. If you are goin forced induction do the secrect cams.

As for what I do to the head here goes- Full port and polish, gasket matching, polish the combustion camber, lap in the new valves, new valve seals, and give the head a good cleaning in general. Ready to install.
