2.2l ohv cam???

Alright, the time has come for me to get rid of the stock cam. I feel that i'm at max hp level i'm gonna see with the stocker in there. My question is, what options do i have for a cam. Who makes them, and will they make them to the specs i want. And my biggest problem, is i don't want alot of down time. And help will be greatly appreciated.

JBP makes great turbo cams. If I remember right, it's a 450 lift, and 195 duration. So it'll lope a tad. Works awesome when combined with 1.6 rockers. Downtime shouldn't be too bad. Depending on how long you take to get the motor out enough to pull the cam out of the block, replace, replace valvesprings... give it four days of downtime.

Yeah except that they have no cores and want me to send them my stock cam to use. But so far that looks like my only option.

Ask around. There are plenty of people on here that would have an extra cam collecting dust in their garage.

OR you could call Crane Cams and have them grind you one. Just use JBP's specs and Crane will do it for ya.
