SAFC + P0107 + resistor = CEL remains
Sunday, August 14, 2005 8:47 PM
First this is on a 96 grand am, 2.4 5 speed with a turbo setup

Alright guys, I need some help here. I just put the SAFC in my car yesterday and got it all setup. I drove it yesterday and the SAFC was doing exactly what it was supposed to be, but then about 10 minutes into drive I get a code, check it, P0107! This is the most annoying code ever... EVER.

So I say ok, try a resistor. So today I put a 330 ohm resistor on there. Now the car runs real rich at idle while I had it tuned to a nice idle before. I drove the car for about an hour with no code. I drive to autozone, go in for some stuff. Go to leave, start car and CEL is on immediately. WTF!!!! My map voltage, I can watch it on the SAFC never EVER goes below 1.4 volts now and this is making absolutely no sense (unless the -% compensation at idle on the SAFC is making the out voltage go to <.2 volts, but I doubt it.. I'm getting so freakin pissed here has anyone else had and solved this? My a/f ratios are good until that damn CEL comes on.

Without the emanage or SAFC installed I get NO CEL's! So what gives?!?! Someone PLEASE help me

Thanks
-Bob

Alright I got another idea I'm going to try today if I can. Does anyone have a pin-out for the 96 2.4 ECU? That would be extremely helpful.

Anyone have the schematic for the Eco? Thanks in advance!

Alright, thanks for the schematic. One more question... What do I do with the resistor on the Eco or will I need it?

Did you ever solve this?

Also i heard something about a diode instead of
a resistor working better is that right?
I lost the link to the thread that said anything about
it.
