Could I use a MBC inline with my FMU to Adjust it?

I was wondering if I could use a manual boost controller in the Vac line leading to the fmu. I have a 12:1 FMU and I want to lower it some.

I dont see why that wouldnt work. It will still be a 12:1 ratio however. It would lower Fuel PSI still by 12 PSI increments...but if this would help you go for it.

In theory it sounds like it would work, try it!

The way I see it, lets say I am running 4psi with a 12:1 fmu. My car is pumping 48 extra psi of fuel.

Now while I am running 4 psi, I make the FMU think its seeing 3psi then I am only gonna get 36 extra psi of fuel. Get the idea??

my roomate was saying this to me like a few days ago, seems like a logical idea because you can get those "in between" settings too...
