AFPR help

Ok, I have been running the accel afpr, but due the high fuel psi I run inder boost (100+), the afpr broke (fuel was spraying out of the vacuum port). I went to switch to the Aeromotive afpr, but they just redesigned it to be shorter and fatter, so it no longer fits, it hits the timing chain housing. JEG'S told me they can no longer get the skinnier model.

So....has anyone mounted an afpr off the fuel rail on a 2.4? I wanna use a more durable fpr than the accel, but I suck at custom fabrication. Any pics?

Unless. someone can still get the older style Aeromotive that still fits, let me know. Thanks for any help.

I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago you had with the Accel one. Man that sucked!!

can't you guys change the fuel rail to get one that will suit the new fpr model?

100psi? the aeromotive i have only says it goes from 30 -70 psi. I don't know of one that may go higher.....

maybe the fmu's go higher since they increase them at a ratio, but i don't know about those. But i guess that would still increase the pressure on the afmu

last part was meant to be afpr, not afmu.

he has a cartech Adj. FMU ...thats what is obvioulsy making him 100 + PSI under boost..not the AFPR alone...[

Yeah, my cartech is what gets me over 100 psi, the accel was just holding me at 30-40 psi under vacuum. I want to try something other than the accel just due to me not having good luck with their products. The Aeromotive looks alot beefier so maybe it can handle the extra pressure.

having the same problem with my aeromotive... i rotated the vacuum port so it faces forward and put the bronze allen key all the way in.... its seriously not even 1/8 inch to big now. thinking about shaving the cover but i am not sure. what did everyone else do with this?
