222 WHP @8.5psi

Finally got to the dyno......Im very happy because Mike had no problem controlling the a/f with emanage and 8 injectors. If I can get better tires/slicks and a winter car I may have Mike tune for 15psi this year. The turbo will be much happier there, but the drivetrain wont.

to Mike @ Innovative Tuning.

Damn you 2.4s I want 200 + hp on only 8 psi. I would be lucky to see 200 on that psi on my 2200. Nice numbers

I give that motor a month.

Nice numbers, what is your Air/Fuel ratio and EGTs?

Someone who shall be nameless made 256-257 on 6 psi of boost out of his 2.4 but you dont see him coming on and rubbing it into your face that his 2.4 is better than you ecotec

Thanks everyone!

Couple things......
On the basline run the car had a lean spot...about 13.4:1 at 4000 rpm and the car made 246 ft lb of torque there. If i wanted to lean the mixture out some i could make more power, especially up high. Tha car is a daily driver, so the afr shot for was 12.1:1

Heat soak is a big isue on the car right now.....I have the stock front bumper so I get no air over the intercooler.

As far as the emanage goes, im tuning with the 4 secondary injectors on the custom fuel rail. In order to use the injector controller feature of the emanage you have to swap to the 99 and up ecu. The emanage doesnt recognize the low impedance signal. Other cars the emanage works on that use low impedance injectors utilize a resistor pack, so in reality the computer sends the same signal as if the car used high impedance injectors, which is what the emanage was designed for.

At 8.5 psi, the turbo isnt in its optimum efficency, I plan on turning the boost up to 15psi which would put the turbo right in the middle of its map, just as soon as i get a winter car.

So I should have more numbers up at the end of the month.

that is highly respectable for 6 psi.
