eco turbo and heat
Wednesday, September 28, 2005 12:13 AM
I have noticed that my car seems to run very hot since i put the turbo on and i was wondering if anyone had similar issues--- I was wondering if anyone has had to do any coolant modifications or anything of that sort. The car usually will go a little over 200 on normal driving in traffic and what not

My actual temperature is fine.
My fan runs more often but thats about it.
Is your fan running?
Is it coming on at about the same point it used to?
If the answer to these questions is no
then you should check your fan motor
to see if it burnt out. Also check your thermostat
to see if it is working properly.

I know my fan comes on 2 marks above 195 (I THINK)
and stays on till i dip under 195.
Sometimes when i shut off my car i have had the fan
running for more than 20 min

same here my fans come on often im thinking about flexlite fans 2 12'' ones. anyone know where you can get a lower t stat? Anyway i think the ss hood with ducking over the turbo would alleviate alot of issues.
