I love your car, everything seems to be going so well! Good luck with it, I hope I can put together a kit half as nice as yours someday!
just imagine what you would be able to accomplish with forged internals and a better tune
good numbers though!

That sicks dude it gets me so excited to see the 2200 putting down those kind of numbers. I wanna be at 200 by the end of summer so im guessing like 8 or 9psi, although it depends a lot of the turbo. What trim are you running again? Keep up the good work man that sweet!

Power is nice, but it would also appear some more practice at the drag strip is in order. Also, why are your trap speeds so low with that much power/weight ratio? I'd expect a car that weighs less than 2700 lbs with driver and 220 hp to trap a lot higher than 98 mph. Seriously this isn't to bust on you or anything i'm just curious. Congrats on the number though, you should be proud. Now get to the track and get that ET down into the 13's where it belongs!! OHV represent!

I imagine with heavy forged internals and a better tune ( i doubt hes running rich or pulling timing with those numbers) he'd make less power.

To answer the question about my SLOW ASS quarter mile times
That was at 6 psi........ with my heavy 17" rims.... no clutch... Lots of odds against me ... Now at 10.5 psi with the tune I currently have .... Shes pulling scary hard !!!
Thanks for the input guys !!

i mean adding more boost with those forged internals silly

Just make sure you don't screw it up. You need the oil return line to stay within 30 degrees of facing down, because of course, it's gravity feed. When you rotate it, you have to be mean to it. After soaking the center section in some penetrating lube for a while, BEAT RELENTLESSLY on it with a mallett until it separates, then rotate.

Depending on the turbo, he should be able to just clock the compressor housing without having to mess with the center section. If he is able just to clock the compressor housing, he wouldnt have to worry about the oil return line.

Also, if you are just clocking the compressor housing you shouldn't need oil or a mallet to move it, it should move freely once the bolts are lose. If you beat on the compressor housing with a mallet you may break it. Only the turbine side needs to be beaten loose sometimes.

ya Thanks for the input guys...
however when I got the turbo it wasn't sitting in the right spot so I clocked it myself.... Like skilz said.... loosen the bolts and clock..... just need to make sure the wastegate bracket lines up again.......and I might need a new hose from the gate to the compressor housing !
ya I don't know if I have enough room... well see ..... winter project.........
Thanks again guys.... appriciate it !

Yes. IN THEORY. However, when you have two cast pieces that get heat, cooled off, heated, cooled off, for a while... guess what happens? Hence why we had to beat on the center section to get it rotated on our turbo sedan otherwise the oil return would have been facing 90 deg straight to the side.
