vac port on tb

well this is kinda boost related so......
on the 2.4l t/b, with the gm charger, does the vac port that is not being used, the one that you put the nipple on, does that read pressure also? cause im not sure if my coolingmist is working or not.

also, if taking the little screw out of the boost switch that comes with the coolingmist kit, does that mean it will kick on at 1psi?

also, the 2.3 ho t/b doesnt have that one vac port on it, where else can i get a boost reading from? im already using the fpr line so thats outta the question.

thanks for all you help guys

you can still to into that line. i have my BOV, FMU, and gauge all run off the nipple on the IM on my ecotec. of course they are routed so that they all get what they need in order of importance but you can do multiple things with a line. just dont do too many

I used to race cars, now I race myself.

no where on the throttle body on the gm s/c does it see boost.

the rotors for the s/c are after the throttle body.

t' into your FPR line.

eh, nevermind. i found out the hard way i guess, its working, but its leaking from the high pressure side of the pump lol. im gonna try and tighten the brass fitting, then push the tube on farther. if that doesnt work i dont know what to do lol. but man does that 2.5 qt tank go quick lol.
