I have the 2.4 and I was wondering what it would take to get into the low twelves. I dont know too much about tuning and adding performance our Js. Thanks in advance!

A lot of knowledge, start reading and studying. The first thing to know is how to tune and how to squeeze performance out of your parts. The step after that is choosing the setup with a goal in mind. Low 12's will probably require you to build an engine.

well i have a goal to hit 12's with my cavalier, so far im close but not yet, the best way to get there in my opinion would be turbo, however i dint wanna go that route, i wanted a daily driven very streetable car so i went with the gm s/c and ALOT of mods. Check out my site for all of the mods, but as of now my best time was a 13.52@106mph, that time was on a stock clutch so of course it was slipping badly in every gear, and with 17" wheels and street tires, i think im in the low 13's with a new clutch and better tires, but then again i also have a 55 shot of nitrous which i could use to get into the 12's but i havent used it yet with the supercharger, check out my mods here www.cardomain.com/id/jimmyc99z24

you want a turbo setup to hit 12s eh? well... let's see. of course, your turbo setup, the perfect size turbo, a stout fuel system, a stout motor (more than just forged pistons and rods, lots of machine work and balancing and... yea). head work. probably have to cryo your tranny. a badass clutch and flywheel. new axles from The Driveshaft Shop. um... and a very very very good tuning platform.

by saying that i think you are most certainly calling bs, but thats ok, i understand a great deal of people on here and all over these forums just pull numbers out of their ass, i can promise i'm not doing that, i have been working far too hard on my car and to get this time to just do something like that. Also take into consideration that my car is currently tuned in very close to the best i can get, im running an a/f of between 11.8-12.2 using the plx wideband, also at the track im running full out race fuel (110 octane) the car was not weighed and i have no weight reduction except for a cf hood and the fact that i was running only enough fuel in the car for the track that night as i trailored it up there because i was scared my tranny may let go, luckily it dint but figured better be safe than sorry when im over an hour away from home. As for slips sorry i dont have a scanner to scan them That also was not the stock pulley it was with the 2.6" pulley which with my alcohol injection has me hitting approx. 10-10.5psi. I have my slip right here so this is the best i can provide for ya.
