Going to be buying my wideband stuff soon, was wondering what the difference is between having the LM-1 or just the Innovate Motorsports gauge that tells your A/F ratio.
What are the advantages of having the LM-1? Do I really need it? As far as I can tell, the gauge itself will tell my A/F ratio, much like the LM-1.
The only differences I can see is that the LM-1 seems to make adjustments according to temperature, altitude, and O2 sensor quality.
I'd much rather have a "matching" piece (gauge) in my pillar that i can monitor at all times instead of having a boxy LM-1 sitting in the passenger seat, floor, or wherever. I don't even like the gay window mount they have.
i believe the LM1 box actually records and does playback too but i too am wondering about this as i am about to buy my wb stuff too
I used to race cars, now I race myself.

i have the LM-1 and i love it.....i would say if ur gunna spend some time really getting ur car to run good and u want to get the most out of it, go with the box. it can record and play back also be hooked up to ur pc and be charted out to tell u exacty were u may be leaning out or getting too rich and it allows u to really tune it well. if ur not gunna get into tuning that critical then i would prolly just go with the guage.... but remember, if ur boosted, tuning is a must and why not be perfectly tuned when u have the chance to be... just my input.
