what times do u think i will get with a supercharger for the ecotec. I Know that its not out for the ecotec but from what i hear on here its almost gonna be released but what times do u all think i will get from that and fully built internals and turning up the psi a little bit. i just want to know just cuz i heard it was coming out like in the next year or so. and am hoping for at least high 13's reliably from built internals proper fuel system and the supercharger. if u all read my post from the versus forum this is why i want this but i might go nitrous until the charger comes out.
with the blower, a pulley, bolt ons, a header, fuel treatment, and maybe a cooling mist setup... i sense mid 13s.

ok thanks i think u just made my decision. for now i guess ill wait for the charger to come out then unless i can find a really affordable turbo kit then i guess i will go turbo instead. and is the cooling mist really necessary and if so how well do they perform and does the blower really get that hot?
and will i need the cooling mist all the time or just when i am racing it at the track or something like that not daily driving, and what do u use in the cooling mist?water?
Do more research

Jon Fisher has a M62 intercooler supercharger set up from a Redline on his 02 cav with a 2.2 Ecotec. Pushing 10 psi and a upgraded fuel system on his otherwise stock motor he has run a best of 14.2 on drag radials.
My guess is that the GM kit will be non-intercooled pushing 5-6 psi, the GM kit will probably be good for high 14's just like the 2.4 kit.
Your best bet to hit mid 13's would be to do a turbo kit.

damn i really wanted the supercharger. taet sch z24 13.9 is ur best time with ur supercharger? how much boost are u running?
if that dude is running 14.2 on a mostly stock motor than mid 13's shouldnt be to far out of reach. with more mods it should be easy.
Thorttle body
exhaust/header
Lightweight crank pulley
alky inj.
and the redline guys are already running 3.25" and 2.8" pullies opposed to the stock 3.5 pulley. add some tuning and mid 13's should be there imo.
