Hey guys,

Josh F,
you never have a problem with leaning out, with a 2.6" on?

alright sorry it took so long to post...just starting my new job and things are all out of place..
2.8" - stock about 4-5psi
2.7" - 6-7psi
2.6" - 8-9psi
2.5" - 10-11psi
now these are just average numbers, some people will see higher and some will see lower, depending on temp, elevation, humidity ect... also 2.7" is about the limit you can go with out alcohol or water injection, reason being is the charged air gets too hot, computer turns down the timing to reduce the chance of knock. I found this out my self as well as others have posted it. My Alcohol injection will be here either tomorrow or next week so i can test that out and let you know if you want... i am using an Alcohol injection kit but you can use water in it too, and the one i have you control what psi it comes on, how much sprays when it comes on, and it has a progressive controller that automatically sprays more as the psi goes up.
When i tried the 2.6" pulley my intake temps shot threw the roof VERY fast so i didn't get any higher then 6.5psi of boost. As for lean i am not sure yet but it isn't showing any knock on my knock gauge so if i am going lean its not going past the point and getting knock.. i will how ever get a wide band O2 sensor soon just to make sure.. Also for your fuel pump after the 2.7" you will probably want to get a new one.. i just happened to have a free one laying around from my dad GNX and its more then enough (Walbro 325) ... all you need is the 225 i think is it...Thats all i can think of for now... any more questions email me or just put it on here and ill try to check back... oh and i highly suggest getting the new pulleys that pulley boys have for our superchargers... I sent him my stock pulley a while back and he has now got them up for sale... and when i get my as$ in gear and send him the install instructions he will have them up as well

effin sweet. hopefully they have them ready by the time i get the money lol, in about 2 months. got other stuff planned lol. but for the 2.6", is the fuel pump the only fuel mod you need to do? would you need bigger injectors, or are the sc ones good enough?

Awsome info. So, the 2.7" pulley had no problems getting to 7psi? But the 2.8" wouldn't go higher b/c it got too hot, eh. Don't plan on running alcohol injections, so it looks like i'll be going with the 2.7". Is the extra 2-3 psi on the 2.7" pretty nice or what?
Also, the hub removal plate they sell, is that just the piece you stick behind the pulley to pull it off? Cause the actually pulley tool is very similiar to a steering wheel puller.

C24NA - Yea your best bet if your not going with alcohol injection just go with the 2.7" pulley... I felt a nice gain in power, and if you make an intake that drops straight down from your throttle body you will notice even more and your s/c is VERY loud when your in boost (i made one and it fits perfectly, let me know if you want and ill send you all the info and size of pipe you need) . And the hub puller you need if you put the hub on to far or else you wont get it off as it is smaller then the pulley. I suggest getting it as you have to heat the hub up with a torch (i, put it in the oven for a bit to heat up evenly then finished it off with a blow torch and heated it till it was glowing) then you need to slid it on and you literally only have 2 seconds to get it in place and it cools and wont move, so with the hub puller you can pull it back into place if you need. As for the puller its self, not sure about the steering pump puller, you can try it.. i know the puller that comes with the pulleys makes it amazingly easy to do it.. all you have to do is pull out your radiator over flow tank and after that the install doesn't take long at all.

Humm well it all depends.. i put the info into my dads spread she he has for his 2 cars and our injectors max out around 210-215hp... So with the 2.6" pulley and alcohol/water injection you would most likely be around 220hp if you hitting 10psi.. so it wouldn't be a bad idea to go to something like 370cc injectors. Thats just what i would say any way. And get RC ones... very good quality.

with as lean as mine is i think 360's should be use with the 5-7 psi im seeing
mine runs low to mid 13's on my wideband
josh, i emailed ya

alright this is alittle off topic and wrecking the thread but i can be running the 2.5 pulley fine as long as i have the 255 pump, bigger injectors and alky injection? aslo if so how does n02 play with the alky injection?
Yep the 2.5" can be run with a 255 pump, bigger injectors (370cc would be my choice) and alcohol/water injection... With Nitrous you can do both alcohol and nitrous or just one or the other as the nitrous will cool the charge down as well as long as it is put threw the charger.... only thing is if your running any kind of fuel threw the s/c'er you will strip the teflon off the rotors and can ruin the rotors... where as with the alcohol some people will say you will still strip the teflon off, but the lines for the alcohol kit are layered with teflon so i don't see where they think it will ruin the rotors... and i have talked to lots and lots of people with the GTP's and they run alcohol threw with no problems at all...

im running a dry n02 kit of course so its a single fogger into my intake so no fuel is being mixed threw it like a wet system. thanks
yep a dry shot would work fine...
