question about gm supercharger
Monday, September 05, 2005 6:20 AM
ok so i no longer have my 2200 supercharged car, but i am getting a 01 z24 from someone else on the org.

my question is does pace parts gm kit have everything needed for the kit including injectors and what not....... and how much does gm charge for the install?

i would do it my self but i dont have time.....

also one last thing what kind of times are you guys pulling up with the 2.4 gm supercharged auto's?

Yes, Pace Parts gives you EVERYTHING you need to complete the install.

If you had GM install it, im sure they would charge you an arm and a leg to do so. It takes about 4-5 hours to install, so just find out what a typcal dealership charges per hour of labor.

I have an auto and have not run yet, but ide say somewhere in the high 14's.

when I looked into getting the GM charger, I had asked adealer what htey would charge for install, and they said like $800, but they had never done one before, so they said it could be more, or less........ either way, that's still quite a bit IMO. My suggestion would be to find the time to do it yourself, even if it prolongs the process of getting it in, your wallet will thank you, and you'll have the knowledge to be bale to remove it if the need arizes. But it's your money and your car so................

Make time, or don't ask about "how much" because you're just going to pay it, whatever it is.

And when you're asking whether or not the kit is complete, you've obviously not done your research. Try it. And be less of a dick to people like Jake, who's never backed away from anyone's requests for help.

expect to pay between 4-800 for install.

what you should do is get a mechanically inclined friend or mechanic to do it for you, and hopefully they'll charge you less.
