Switched over my water injection mixture :)
Thursday, September 01, 2005 4:07 PM
Got rid of the windshield washer fluid as it was bubbley and from some research i found out it was too inconsistant.

So i picked up 4 yellow bottle's of HEET and some distilled water and mixed the two. I got another empty milk jug and dumped one bottle of heet, to one bottle of distilled water till it was all filled up. Shook it up and put it in my tank in the trunk.

The car seems to like it better for sure.

I have to get some more intake temp #"s, but my scan tool i borrowed isnt working the best.

Thought i would share my info, as not too many people have water injection with the gm s/c.

Hey Jake, I also stopped using washer fluid. I've been running a water and methanol mix, the blower really likes this stuff!

Jake- Would you say that your mixture is 50%Heet and 50%distilled? Or is there more heet than distilled water?

That makes me have a question.....Will cooler weather (Temps in this case) increase boost pressure from turbos? Since I've installed my cooling mist kit, my boost pressure has gone from around 10 to 13 lbs. Normal?

Outside temps should not affect boost pressure from a turbo.
