does anyone know how to install a safc 2 on and 2000 2.2 2200 cavalier
Well its pretty simple, you wire it up to the ECU. On my 99 it turned out to be in the freakin passenger side fender, behind the head light. Although it changes around a bit from year to year and car to car. You'll need a wiring diagram of the ECU to splice the correct wires in, but all in all its not too tough.
u can obtain most of the wiring diagrams from www.nyjbodies.com, they have a library where u can find the diagrams, im not exactly sure how the 2.2 works because i have a 2.4 but it took me about 2 hours to get it all wired up and wire loomed and all, the ecu should be in the passenger side fender well for ya. I know your frustrations though man, the safc doesnt do @!#$ for us cavy guys when it comes to their wiring instructions. All you really need to do though is look in the safc2 instructions to find out which wire does what on the safc2 and then simply splice into that wire coming from your ecu, the only wire you actually cut in half and "intercept" is the one for your mass air sensor because thats what the safc2 uses to basically trick the computer into doing what you want.
if you have any questions feel free to ask me, ill do my best to help ya out man
