quiet BOV and small boost #s

all bovs do the same thing right. none do anything better than the other except make louder noise? i want a very simple turbo set-up for my car and was thinking if going with a stock eclipse bov and some type of side mount inter cooler. i dont plan on running high boost numbers and since the eclipse runs 14lbs stock it should be sufficent or a saab side mount. i know its hard to hide turbo but i wanna do my best. i was looking at somewhere between 4-6psi.

I'd say use the 1G DSM BOV that is what I use and it works very well, I would suggest not using the Saab side mount that is what I'm using and I ran my piping under the car and due to the placement of the endtanks the pipe that goes to the throttle body is too low. Go with a nice ebay intercooler you can get a decent one for about 125 or you can go to johnnyracecar.com they have good intercoolers and the J-Body guys seem to like em.

1G DSM BOVs aren't very quiet at all. Why don't you want a FMIC? If you don't want it seen paint it flat black and no one will notice it.

the fairly quiet piece i'm using as a BOV is a recirc unit from a 300ZX. it's a nice, sedate little whoosh from behind the front bumper. it still gets looks in city driving, but it's certainly not anything like the SSQV you'd find on so many typical, modified import cars. it's not audible at highway speeds, btw...

Have you seen the turbo wagon?

14.069 @ 98.91mph
229.1hp & 261.7ft/lbs @ 6psi
no tuning time

Put a small K&N filter on the BOV, that will help quiet it some, whatever BOV you choose.
