Long story short I shattered a lifter in my head and it caused some pretty nice damage.
Well right around a month and 1600 dollars later the car is back on the road. Started on the first try last night. It was loud as @!#$ being we didnt weld the downpipe to the header and it was just coat-hangered on there lol. Got it welded up this afternoon and it sounds and runs mint. I havent really gotten 100% on it yet but it seems to have picked up ALOT of top end. The only thing left to do is install the boost guage and water injection.... which will all be taken care of end of this week or next.
All in all Im just soooo glad to get the car back. Granted getting driven around in my friends modded 02 z28 was fun and all its nice to have MY car back and driving again.
Just thought I'd share my happiness w/ you guys.
P.S. I got a new (updated) sig! w00t
Impressive... I can only imagine how much fun that thing is to drive

Well thanks and all but the fun is apparently short lived....
Driving to class yesterday .... and all of sudden the car started in with the same symptoms that caused me to do ALL this work in the first place. Sudden loss of power and then flashing CEL. NO IDEA why. Everything was replaced with brand new parts (except teh cam). IM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO pissed right now.

The guy did a compression test and now their is no compression in the #4 cylinder. He thinks its a bottom end issue this time (i swear im gonna hang myself). They are gonna finish hte diag tuesday and let me know the exact cause.
Anyone know where to get a built block?
