Hey guys,
Well, i go in on friday for the reflash. I plan(ned) to install it next thursday night/friday. But if i run into a snag.. i could be screwed. However, if i install it tomorrow, i could fix any problems. HOWEVER, if i zip tie the boost wastegate open(so it can't build boost), would it be ok to drive for 4 days to work and back? If i drive like a pussy? I'd install the new injectors but not map sensor.
Any experience, info or what u guys did to get it to dealership for reflash would be appreciated!
Nate

I know there are people with 2k+s without the reflash. I of course dont have it being a 98 and my car runs like the day it rolled off the assembly line.

Y don't they have the reflash? Are they driving it around? Cause i'd have to drive to and from work for 4 days.

How bad could it be, I dont have the reflash, whats so different about the 2ks. Is it that drastic of a change? You could just shift at 3K, you wont see any boost unless your slamming the gas anyways.
