I need to know how to hook up a boost guage on my now GM Supercharged Z24 vert. It runs incredibly well for just 320cc injectors and a adjustable LT1 FPR set to 48psi. Anyways I need to know which line to tap. When I hooked it to the TB on the port that you block off (GM SC people will know about this) all I got was 20 PSI VAcuum, and when I pressed the gas a little it went 0 but no boost. Does the guage show vacuum and then upon higher RPMs will it go to boost? I just plugged it into the TB and didnt mount it permanantly or anything just ran a line to test.
thanks
Chris

Tap into the FPR line

Friend you can hook up in one of the small lateral ports of the SC. One is used for the MAP sensor (right port) and the other is used for the FPR (left port). Just hook up as close as posible to SC in one of this ports. The FPR port (right one) will be better to avoid MAP false readings.

Will you see any difference in boost from the left to the right side?

Does it matter how close to the SC that its hooked up? Ive got mine T'ed off right at the FPR and it seems to read fine.
^^^^same with me, but the little hose on the back of the boost gauge keeps coming loose so i get lower and lower vac lol. gotta fix it somehow, prolly by pulling the hose inside the car more
