I wanted to get to get the stage two or three kit from j-tuners. Would my car be able to handle a stage three or should i finish the internals. Or should i just get the stage two. right now im getting as much as i can with the internals done. What should i do
stage one is the only one that really does any type of boost to you motor. Stage 2 is fuel items which would be needed for boost apilcations. Stage 3 is just a intercooler kit. So basically you cant just buy the stage one. thats just the basics of a turbo kit. It doesnt include anytype of tuning so your going to need stage 2 cause i would boost without some sort of fuel support. Hope it makes sense

okay well I have a 2001 cavalier 2.2 turbocharged...... full frount mount set up, upgraded injectors, fuel pump, fmu, computer, t3 turbo, ss bov, 8.7 psi pumping 248 bhp stage 3 set up....... FULLY stock internals............. 100% motor has 110000 with new main bearings, new head gasket, new valve cover gasket..................
on the motor I have ported intake mani, bbtb 62mm, pulleys, stage 3 clutch, lightened flywheel, engine mounts, larger fuel rail......
but again STOCK internals............. 100%
My J Loves boost...... just gotta show her a little tlc......... oil changes every 2 weeks 5-50 syntec............... treat it right and it will last a long time intercooled is key.....
