Running reflash without boost?
Tuesday, August 16, 2005 10:08 AM
My buddy is about to turbo his car, he wants to run the S/C reflash, but can he safely do so with the S/C map, spark plugs, and injectors until the kit is all finished up?

It is, as Nick has bought some of Jud's leftovers.

We're trying to do a nice safe setup, and figure out if running the reflash with S/C components will suit his needs power wise.

ya the reflash is really good with turbo running 9 psi with a ported intake manifold, 62mm portmatched throttle body, 30 lbs injectors, a cartech adjustable FMU, and a stage 3 clutch ......... works VERY NICE !!!!!!!!!!!
GET BOOST...... ENOUGH TALK ABOUT IT WORKING WITHOUT BOOST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not interested, though my buddy Nick is interested in the turbo/IC piping if it's for an auto.

Let me know, e-mail is in registry.

If it does im all over it for my turbo install instead of my emanage. ive got a 2200 with 290cc injectors with fpr and msd fuel pump. at least maybe i can put off installing the emanage untill i get higher into boost?

just like SKILZ said I AM NOT USING THE GM REFLASH.

There is no such thing to my knowledge of a 2.2 reflash from GM....
Mine is from RSM............ for the 2200 stage 3 supercharger kit.......................
Custom tuned to handle boost spikes not normally seen with S/C........
if you have a 2200 .........DON"T go near RSM ............... such a bad idea.......... I'm taking out my RSM computer........... I was leaning out with 30 lbs injectors , walbro 255 and there softwear..... I simply went out and got a Cartech Adjustable FMU hooked it up with the RSM reflash and NOW it DOESN"T lean out .............
as soon as I get money for MSD DIS-2 the RSM computer is literally being burned... Crap softwear !!!!!!!!!!!
better to spend the money on a Reflash that ACTUALLY DOES something !!!!!!

Good luck !
btw......
with the softwear at 9psi with a downpipe dump I put down 212.3 whp and 222.8 ft/lbs with my 2200.......
hahah I also ran 15.8's before boost with my 2200.............. Frankenstein 2200 !!!!! haha
