i'll hopefully be getting an rsm stage I s/c kit soon and i've been trying to find boost and wideband air/fuel gauges to install. i'd like to match the two in style and color but i'd like them to be quality. it seems like i can't find much (i was originally looking at autometer but i heard their narrowband a/f isn't that great). does anyone have any suggestions on what brands? maybe universal apps? thanks in advance.
Blown.
inovate has 4 different style faces
ive got the auto meter cobalts , which are black face , aluminum bezel , and i got a matching black face aluminum bezel wideband from inovate
i purchased the inovate gauge from karo
thats definitely an option, thanks. anyone have any opinions on dynojet or daytona sensor gauges?

i have a full set of stewart warner gauges and senders. i love them. never had any issues with them that i didnt cause. all the gauges are accurate and zero'd out correctly.
ive seen a lot of autometer boost gauges that arent zeroing out correctly lately. dont know whats going on with them.
click my sig if you wanna see pictures of my gauges

autometer gauges tend to read about one psi lower than actual. but most boost gauges aren't 100% accurate. make sure you pick a boost gauge that shows vacum and boost. for example, the range is from 10 vacum to 20 boost or something like that.
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
the stewart gauges look mint. is their a/f gauge narrowband? it seems as if all they're doing is hooking it up to the stock o2 sensor. hypsy - is that what you did? by that i mean is your a/f gauge hooked up to the cavi's stock o2 sensor? if it works precisely and accurately then i might just get them.

Talk to Karo at carcustoms.net......He was running some really good group purchases on wideband gauges and stuff.
my auto meter cobalt boost zero's out , my fuel pressure doesnt though
I got autometer boost gauge, and an AEM all in one wideband gauge. Love them both.
I'm unfamiliar with the stewart warner gauges.
i dont have a air/fuel gauge...useless piles of crap.

A wideband or narrowband? Narrowband is useless yeah but I see the wideband as a great tuning tool... is that what you meant?
yeah wideband gauges are priceless if you know how to use it. of course in the hands of a moron even the best parts are worthless

well i've been thinking about using a stewart warner boost gauge with the aem gauge-like wideband sensor (thanks Bob). i'm not going to tune my car professionally but i would like an a/f wideband gauge to tell me whether my engine and s/c is running rich, lean, or just right. if its either rich or lean i will definitely make changes and try and tune it better. thats basically all i'm trying to do. i hope that doesn't fall into the definition of "moron" as defined by hypsy. i'm new to 'boosting' so if i have to tune, i'll turn to the forums for help. i'm just trying to learn and i hope that is understandable.

by moron i mean people that you see just throw parts at a car cause someone says it works...IE the electric supercharger people

LOL @ electric supercharger... sadly, they are still selling!
My autometer Boost gauge was reading 3-4 lbs less then what I really was boosting. I've sent it out to get fixed, we'll see though. At this point, I'd say go with Stewart Warner.
i wont say who but theres a fairly well know company around here that had a bunch of issues with some autometer gauges. apparently they ordered 10 gauges and only 1 or 2 would zero out.

i've been looking at the lm-1 wideband kit that carcustoms is selling (thanks Ad1kTed 2 SpE3d and Skilz10179). i really like the fact that i can hook it up to my comp. and analyze the data. only thing is i'm not sure where i'd be able to have it in the car. i'm looking for a 'clean' look i guess you could say. i wouldn't want it lying around in a cupholder while i'm driving and checking my a/f ratio.

You could get a tripple Gauge pod for the a-pillar.
i would get a dual gauge pod for the a pillar if i got the aem gauge-like wideband. but the lm-1 that i am interested in is some kind of palm-pilot shaped sensor and wouldn't fit in a pod. if i did get that, i'd prob. just have the boost in the a pillar and i've been trying to figure out where that lm-1 sensor would go.

http://www.plxdevices.com I have had good results with mine
http://www.carcustoms.net has the innovative line of them
also AEM makes a wideband
as for boost guage i dont really think it matters its there just to let you know your getting boost , its not something you can tune by
1989 Turbo Trans Am #82, 2007 Cobalt SS G85
those sensors look pretty good, i'll have to decide what wideband i like. only reason i'd get a boost gauge is to tell me if i'm actually getting a certain boost while driving.
