I posted this picture up a while back asking whether or not this manifold could be duplicated, and I didn't get a whole lot of feedback on whether any company could do it. Here is the picture again
or
CNFX and Exploited Racing mentioned being able to do it, and I imagine that CustomTubesInc could produce the manifold also, but no one really gave me any feedback on how much, time space, ect. ect.
I can get the flange for the manifold, if someone can just make it for me. T3 flange, 44mm wastegate.
Thanks
WOW, that's a crazy manifold! Looks sweet.

That is what a guy did with a 2.2 ohv. He bought a turbo header that was made for some 4 cly Nissan, and just used the 2.2 header flange.

I wonder if you could do that with an Ecotec Flange aswell?
this would be a good start for my turbo setup on my z24..
i am having the same problem i need a good mani not a log i whant to hole shabang..

Just what I was thinking Brian. Just make sure it's going to fit back there and also check for hood clearence
z24 aint afraid of no ecotec
woudnt it be cheaper to get a honda turbo kit and just modify the manifold to fit?
[it'll work better on a 2.2OVH then a DOHC set up, due to the clearance issuses]
I have a "header" style manifold scoped out (if Fetter doesn't hook a bro up
) From the measurements provided on this one, it should fit..... idk about the HVAC lines and such.... but as for fitting between the head and fire wall, it should. If I ever come across $400 I'll buy it and find out.
4G63 manifold.

I never thought about actually buying a Honda Manifold and rewelding a LD9 flange to it... the problem that I thought would come across is that the runners wouldn't line up with the ports on the LD9 head if they were different than the B-series ports on the Honda?
I've actually contacted the company about producing me a one-off manifold because I just found out today that they do use custom work. I guess I could see about sending them a flange and having them compare it to the b-series flange that they are using. The manifold is supposedly designed for an increase in top-end power, and I figure with the torque of the 2.4, some better top end wouldn't hurt.
Z, Is it Neukin that makes that manifold for the 4G63? That is the company that produces the 2nd manifold pictured, the 1st pic is just off a cheap one on Ebay. The wife of one of the guys I work with's father is a machinist, so I figure that I could have him reweld the flanges up nice and clean for me if I could figure out how big of a difference there will be.
One step closer to my goals

the ones I posted are OBX manifolds....... not the best, but they get pretty good reviews on the DSM sites.
The header style ones would be a tad easier to swap flanges on, since you can put it in a vise and bend it a tad.......... to get the ports to line up. The log manifolds arn't as givable.

Well, I've fallen into a lucky situation actually. I spoke with the leader of the developmental department at Neukin and they are going to look for a local Z24 so they can have a look at the amount of space I will have to work with between the head and the firewall so he can get something made for me... one off peice basically.
Woohoo!
does ne one know about how much it would cost to get the flanges on these switched,( on average), because im buying the log style from ebay but i also would have to have an external wastegate port adapted to it, but these already have them so another ? is which would b cheaper and/or better log style/ wastegate flange adapted, or these header style/ flange switched.
DRIVE HARD OR DONT DRIVE AT ALL!!!
looks like i'll be ordering a honda turbo kit and just modify it to fit my 2.2
[gota love the honda's turbo header manifolds!]
if some one could answer my ?, not a smart a$$ coment. i would switch the flanges and post up the progress when i do it

Cant tell you, cause I didnt pay for it when I did it..... (swapped a 2.3 flange onto a 2.4 manifold)
Which is better...... thats up to you. Both are going to need some work, while the 2.4 log will probably fit fine, no one knows how the header style will fit yet, since none of us did it yet.
Is that enough of a answer w/o it being a smart
ass comment for ya?

The seller of this header will put a 2.4 flange on for a little extra $. Just give him the exhaust gasket part number to speed things along.
