almost done purchasing parts need help

This is for a 98 2200
OK right now I have
Turbo w/ internal gate
Manifold
bov w/ flange
30 lb ford red tops

In the mail.
Intercooler
Charge Piping

Waiting for more money
Gaskets,
Oil Lines,
Megasquirt

My question is right now I only want to run 5-6 psi on this small 42/48 turbo? will i need a higher fuel pump right now, or can i wait until i want to run more boost?? Also will I need an Adjustable Fuel pressure regulator? I am not running a FMU, I do not like them and thats why i'm going Megasquirt

Well, since you're only running 5 psi and you said you've already got some injectors, it's not TOO serious to pick up the fuel pump or FMU. HOWEVER, this is something I'd highly, highly suggest doing just to be on the safe side...

I wouldn't wait too long without either of those, just to be SAFE. You don't wanna lean the motor out

Maybe pick up a wideband o2 and dynotune that puppy also so you can get it exact

I'm not running an FMU at all. Megasquirt is for that why bother with something that is harder to tune and not exactly the safest way to run things

Will I need to AFPR to run the 30lb ford injectors at idle? has anyone had any problems with out one?
