i recently bought a cavy witha 2.4 witha spun bearing and a 5spd trans for a swap for my 2200 auto . the 2200 is turboed but the other day i broke the manifold its not repairible i was told . so do i buy a log style man for 230 on ebay and redo the piping or put the stock man back on and save the money to fix the 2.4 and swap it in ................. any opinions ????????????? im so torn...... LOL!
13's or blowning it. one way or the other!
I'd say save and build the 2.4 and put your stock exhaust on the 2200 for now, might be hard to do but in the end it'd be worth it

btw how did you "break" the manifold

IT WAS A CAV conn man and the shop said it was from the wieght of the turbo on the man. it busted 2 out of the 4 that come up tp the bottom of the turbo. (stress cracks)

I am afraid of that same problem. I'm trying to come up with a good "bracket" from the turbo to the valve cover or alternator bracket.
That really sux! Was going to skip the bracket... not now!
Def build up the 2.4!!!!
