Ok CNFX mounted my battery in my trunk to route charge piping easier. I have 12 volts at my battery and 12 at the distribution block.
Problem - Twice since the msd was installed the car has just stalled and wont start, it cranks and cranks. The MSD LED light never comes on so we thought power supply issue. Checked that and it is fine. Checked ground, that is fine. So we make a new ground and hook the power wire up and the ground wire to my buddy's little tester and the other end of the tester to a ground. We have 12 volts going into the MSD but 7 Going out. When we touch the ground the LED blinks once and shuts off. We need some help. MSD tech was useless saying there was no possible way to use this 62112 box on my motor with out the blaster packs and whole 9 yards. Any ideas guys?

if the light isnt coming on this can be caused by ignition voltage wire being grounded

My car has stalled out about 3 times in the past month with the MSD wired in. Weird, but it always seems to start back up after about a half hour. It will run fine for a week or two and then stall again. Almost all the time it will happen while I'm driving. Hmm

The programmable MSD was working fine on my car for almost 2 months until the last week or so. The car would miss really bad at certain times and then clear up. It has gotten worse in the last week or so. It would miss at idle, and would miss while driving. It would miss so bad that the car couldnt even get into boost. So for now I just pulled the MSD off of the car. I am going to go through and check all of the wiring later on this week.
The MSD DIS 2 has some great features, but I have known a few people to have problems with the MSD boxes going out.
