Ok so i'm in the process of making a nasty fuel rail conversion for my 92 2.2 and am obviously using top feed injectors. My question is will peak and hold, low impedance, not saturated, 45lb injectors work with my ecu?
I think you will need something like an safc to control idle issues and everything else out of boost... I think

i got an adjustable fmu now and also an adjustable fpr so i think with those and some tuning it will run . just looking for some input on if the ecm is capable as far as amps and ohlms.
I hear 2.2 injectors are low impedance, so I suppose that is correct
you can only drop the static pressure so low, after that the computer can't pull the injectors back any further, iirc.

Woah! You're building an OBDI car and trying to use the stock ecm?? Why not ditch that paperweight and get a "1227749" ecm from a turbo Sunbird? The ecm is compatible with low impedance pfi injectors, can read boost (with a 2 bar MAP sensor), and can control boost. And if you want to invest in some software and a chip burner you can burn your own performance chips. A turbo friendly ecm is much better to work with, imo.
93 2.2 with 1227749
-->Slow
whoops, Im sorry I honestly thought it said 96, wow.
sorry about that
