Im posting for a friend who is w/o the internet right now. Hopefully you guys can help. My friend has a 2001 Z24. He turbocharged it and got the GM Supercharger reflash along w/ the 2bar map sensor and the injectors from the kit. He also has an adjustable FPR. The one for the corvette that was posted on here a while back. Anyway he cant get the car to idle and keeps fouling out his spark plugs (2 stages colder also) He had another friend say that his Map sensor is bad and that it was at at 70% load at idle. Could that be the problem? What else do you guys think it is. I believe he has the FPR down around 35 but I can double check. Also does anyone have information on exactly what is changed in that reflash. What are some options for my friend....SAFC, Emange ? ? He doesnt really want to go the Emange route b/c of the money but if that is his only option he will do it. He has taken it out a few times and says that it seems to run fine. He just cant seem to figure out why he idles so badly and how to fix it. Any help is greatly appreciated. If you have questions that I didnt answer ask and I will get them for you so hopefully he can get his car running.

if he has the 310 injectors that come with the sc kit he shouldn't have to be turning down the fuel pressure, it should run just like stock.
When you say it idles badly, what exactly is it doing? idling hi/low, bouncing around?
Tell him to put the stock FPR back on and he should be fine.

Ok, I talked to my friend and this is what he said...
He is pretty sure the reflash is done right, he saw it and that it came up z24 supercharge when he was there getting it done. He also ran the car with the stock FPR and still had the same problem..
He said its not that the idle is bad but its dumping way too much fuel in at idle and fouling out his plugs. I hope that clears it up a little better.
Any ideas?

Whats the clue that the plugs are fouling out? Just wet with fuel? Black? Maybe burning oil?

He says the plugs are black and that its dumping too much fuel in. Dont know about the CEL b/c he replaced the gaugues w/ Autometer ones.

have it scanned, for codes....... and make sure the IAT sensor is plugged in.
