2002 Eco LS Sport & 2.0L Eco / M62 Info/Pics......

Well I figured since the cat was out of the hat at the bash that I would post some pictures and info on whats going on with the car I was at the bash with.

I picked up a 2002 LS Sport Cavalier 5 Speed about 45 days before the bash... started working on it getting it ready for the bash along with some other new goodies which I got for it after the bash. I honestly dont know what will happen with the car and or the new stuff I got for it but time will tell.

Here is a list of all the mods which are on the car currently along with whats in the store for the car as well.

Engine:

B&M Racing Short Throw Shifter
Car Customs Lower Engine Mount
Car Customs Transmission Mounts
Car Customs Bored Out Throttle Body
Magnaflow Single Cat Back
Magnaflow 14" Resonator
RKSport Upper Engine Mount
RKSport High Flow Intake
RKSport Under Drive Pulley

Suspension/Wheels/Brakes:

Car Customs Control Arm Bushings
Car Customs Rear Disc Conversion Kit
Car Customs Stainless Steel Braided Rear Brake Lines
Eibach Rear Sway Bar
Eibach Front & Rear End Link Bushings
Eibach Sport Line Lowering Springs
Falken Azenis Sport 225/45/17 Tires
Monroe Front Strut Mounts
Monroe Rear Strut Mounts
Motegi Trak Lite Flat Black 17x7.5 Rims
Tokico D-Spec Shocks & Struts
Vibrant Front Strut Tower Brace
Vibrant Rear Strut Tower Brace
Wilwood Cross Drilled / Slotted Front Big Brake Kit
Wilwood Stainless Steel Braided Front Lines

Exterior:

McCulloch 6000K HID System

As for the pictures sorry they are not 56K friendly but here they are.

Now onto what I got for this car as well. I picked up a 2.0L Ecotec Engine, Tranny, Ecu, Harness, SC, everything as a complete kit. I think what I will do with this stuff is just pull the SC stuff off the engine, put it all on my 2.2L Ecotec Engine in the Red LS Sport I have and either keep the rest of the stuff or re sell it. I know for a fact that I will be selling the transmission since it does not look like I will be able to use it in my car. As for the long block I will either keep it for later use OR just sell it..... Not 100% sure what I will be doing with it as of yet.

Here are some pictures of the goodies... the only thing which I did not get was the "intercooler" or "heat exchanger" because it was trashed in the front end crash and the "air box" which I got was also broken in many places as well.

I think with in the next 1-2 months I will get the SC stuff on the red car. I am still waiting to see exaclty when the GM reflash will be ready for the dealers so they can reflash my ECU. Also, I have heard HP Tuners might be doing something as well so I am also waiting for that as well.

Either way I still need to get some more parts before I can do anything else to it.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Thank you.

You freaking suck Karo, I'm Jealous.

Can't wait till you start playing with that engines potential, hopefully you can achieve impressive results like your 2.4L.

You still suck though, just to let you know.

Hey BTW Karo,
My dealership in Lubbock can already do that reflash for the Eco's but I also email my damn Vin# to HPTuners for that software also like everybody else.

If HPTuners can't come through within a year, I'm just going to get the GM Reflash.

Hopefully HP can come through, though.

Looking good Karo. If you just swao over the charger, remember that the belt for the sc car is 5 rib and the regular eco is 4 rib, or is it the other way? Either way, there is a difference. Keep us posted, the car looks awsome so far.

Nice Cavy. So you said it was a 2.0liter right? If you sell the long block, how much? I really want a long block 2.0l but can't find one.

Thats why I got the whole engine so I can swap over the pulley system as well... OR... maybe see if I can get a 4 rib pulley for the SC alone...

Karo,
I am loving the rims. They would look great on my red S/F.
My questions are; Are those rims hub centric? How much do they weigh? Where did ya get them? Also will you be doing a CC TB for the 2.4L later on?

thanXs man!
& Good luck!

The wheels are Motegi Racing Trak lites ver 1.0. The weight is listed on there website and off the top of my head they are like 14.0 lbs in 17's. They are so badass. They most likely use rings for the hub.

They are 14.5 LBS for the 17x7.5 inch wheels. I got them from a supplier of mine who pulled in some favors for me. The rims retail for about 350 each. I got 5 of them so I can use one as a spare as well do to the larger brakes which I am running.

As for the 2.4L TB... I may do some of those but I am not 100% sure on it yet.

If your interested in the rims let me know I will see what I can do for you.. just e mail me.. and MAKE SURE you use like a yahoo or hotmail account.. since your other e mail keeps on getting rejected by my e mail.
