I recently just took the supercharger off my 2000 auto and I'm putting it on a 2001 5sp and I can't find the book with the code number's for the reflash. I know the auto and the 5sp is a different reflash. If anybody could give me that number I would appreicate it! 2001 Z24 5sp thanks

speaking of the VCI #
If anyone has the instructions from the GM s/c would you please look for the VCI # for a Grand Am with the auto tranny.
it's a 2000, if that makes any difference. I am getting an intercooled RSM blower, and am just using the gm 2bar map sensor, and reflash, and will need the VCI # for the reflash.

the gm dealer has to phone 1-800-828-6860 with your vin# and get the VCI number from them...
Well how have some people gone to the dealer and got theres reflashed?
I would be intrested in buying that Auto computer from you.

Thanx Charles
just go down to the dealer and see if they will so it for you, or if you know anyone that works for gm that might help... i dunno i just gave em my computer my vin and the part# for the reflash and said go to it
lol
so what is the code for the 5sp
well I know 2 people at 2 dealers that said they'd do it for me. One said they would need the VCI number. I was told that it should be located in the instruction manual (on newer units since n-bodys weren't added till later)

srry to bring this back from the dead, but the auto reflash number isn't working in the gmparts direct search, it says its not found or somthing like that.
thanks
you cant search the # on gm parts direct
the dealer has to call the 800 # , use the # above to get the code # to reflash the computer with
is this the code only for the gm supercharger or for all mods like cams and superchargers and turbos
gm charger
some have used it also , on their turbos and other types of s/c's
I'm still confused about the whole VIN and VIC thingy... but I'm about to go thru it, so I'll give you guys the heads up once I get it over and done with.
I'm going to try and call the number myself and get the VIC ahead of time... for both the 5 speed swap reflash, and the GM S/C flash.

no one will give you info when you call the 800 number unless you are a dealer. Just go to the dealer, dial the #, give the phone to the person at the dealer and tell him your vin number and the part number for the reflash. They will give the dealer the vci # so that they may reflash your computer.

Hmm... well, I tried calling that 1-800# and gave them a dealer code (which worked! LOL!) and gave them the VIN I found on cartrader.com... they said they didn't support transmission swaps, so they were unable to provide me with a VCI number for the 5 speed swap..
Does this mean there is NO way to reflash the PCM for 5 speed? Because without that number, it's not exactly possible... and if they don't support it... eh? wtf?
How the hell do I do this?
