how much power do you think that the gm supercharger can put out with mods and does anyone know if you can intercool that supercharger

Re: gm supercharger

ive got 1 of the few 2.4 s/c's that it would be possible to intercool

some guys have gotten over 200 whp with the s/c and a full list of mods

you wouldnt happen to have the list of mods they have
i want like 230 or 240 horse might hit it with a shot of juice

header , 2 1/2" exhaust , 62mm tb , ported head , 2.5 or 2.6 pulley

alky injection , or a 35 shot dry , should get it close to that range at the wheels

stage 2 or 3 clutch , and lsd would help out alot at getting that to the wheels also

the 2.7" pulley and i/e/tb should put you over 200whp.... forget a 35 shot. The only reason Im running so "low" powerwise is because of the fact that Im actually running the 2.5" pulley and the blower is actually losing power due to heat. With alky injection I should be in the 220+ whp range

i have a pacesetter 4 to 1 header with full 2.25 pacesetter exhaust with no cat aem air intake b&m shift rsm crank pulley 100 shot of nitrious nos wet kit i have no clue wut i got for power with that cause i havent driven the car in 4 months
Re: gm supercharger

well your crank pulley will have to go back to the stock size pulley for the s/c

the reason i say a 35 dry shot is to help cool the s/c , or to use the akly injection

also the closer the intake is to outside air the better for the s/c

y would my crank pulley have to go back to stock the under drive pulley will make it pull more boost with the stock blower pulley then if i get the 2.5 or 2.6 pulley it will pull more boost and does it have to be a dry kit or can you use a wet kit cause i have a wet kit in already
Re: gm supercharger

you need a larger than stock size crank pulley to up the boost

the small pulley would make less boost

and it has to be dry shot the fuel will hurt the blower

all you need to do is remove the fuel stuff from it and cap the 1 end of the nozzle for the fuel

I just wanted to add to this. The RSM crank pulley is stock size just a hell of a lot lighter. I think 8 oz to be exact.
The crank pulley size is irrelevant if you have the RSM pulley. so........ "97cavi24" is correct. Get the 2.7" pulley and a larger crank. or leave your stock sized RSM lightened pulley and just get the 2.7" S/C pulley. you should notice a difference with that stock sized lightened pulley from RSM. I bought it and a 62mm TB and I cut 3/10ths on average off my 1/4 times. 3/10ths for roughly $300.00 CDN is amazing.

most rsm crank pullies were smaller than stock , the stock size was optional and if i remember correctly they are fairly new

lol back to middle school

thh smaller crank pulley(ur under drive) will spin all assecoriees slower.....including a supercharger........ best bet is get the rsm lightened crank pulley and the new lightened altenator pulley they have........ both are stock size but lighter than stock

GM charger, RK 4-1 header, 2.5 custam bent exhaust, dynomax superturbo muffler, pulley boys 2.6 quick change pulley, and a bage of ice on the blower it made 238 FWHP.

( blower was still hot as hell.)

you're putting out about 20 more horsepower than i figured. what is your boost at with that pulley? and is this on 92 octane?
