The words turbo and header don't really go together. Is that really the name of it, or is it called something else?

its still a manifold. i guess you could call it a header-style manifold. cavalier connection makes one i believe. i think their new site is jtuners.com or something.
Actually they do in this case
Call Custom Tubes in Boston and see if he will make one for you

Equal length turbo manifolds (a.k.a. turbo headers) can be expensive but god they are beautiful. You will have to get one custom made as there is no place where you can buy a decent one for a decent price by itself. And no, Exploited Racing is not what I would call a "good" idea... if you want to get it before Christmas.

And then some more to get it coated. The tubes themselves are 321 stainless but the flange is mild steel and will rust. HPC does a damn fine job of coating it.

phoenixturbo.com / cheapturbo.com makes custom manifolds, and they are beautiful. A couple years back they said it would be about $800 I believe, but they would have to have a donor car to work off of...

by wanting to get more out of your turbo setup what exactly do you mean. Because I know for a fact that a well made SS log manifold can handle quite alot of boost . Save your money and put it elsewhere into the project. Beleave me, the regular style manifold is fine for as much as you plan on throwing at it.

But getting a decent flowing external wastegate setup out of one is a little difficult

Looks good...Brandon..
I have had my 321 Stainless Turbo Header in my car for almost 4 years now.... not one crack or flaw. I have been really happy with it.
It has been header wrapped along with the the 304 down pipe...and both look great.
I just took it out to get a wrist pin wire ring replaced (1/4 of it snapped out of place for whatever reason).......and the motor refreshed.

curious, are you using a bracket to support the turbo?

I think I see a big azz bracket coming off the head...

Yes... the bracket works very well.. If I had to do it again, I would add a smal bracket to the waste gate, aswell, because tonight, I just noticed a small crack starting on the wastegate exit tube from the collector. I'll weld it up (or send it Custom Tubes)... and add the small support bracket for the gate.
But the head flange welds, all primaries and collector look really nice.
