What kind of smoke did GM blow up everyones ass? I haven't see a post about it yet. I know someone had to hound GM about this. What's the word?

You have options for boosting, so you can't really use GM as an excuse to not be.

I only care because I want to use the ECO SC reflash with my turbo setup.
I talked to a GM rep about the 2.4 charger.. This is kinda off topic but he said the guys using Alcohol injections with these chargers should really stop using it because it eats up the teflon coating on the insides of the charger which isnt good. I dunno, but thats what he told me and Matman on here.

gtp guys having been using alky injection for years without problems. i think he meant to say NITROUS eats away the teflon. im no expert thats just what ive learened on here.

No we specifically asked about Alcohol because Matman was curious about it with his GM charger.. I dunno, maybe the Gm guy was heat exausted haha

yea if you want alky injection do it after the superchager the alco will beat up the blades

I talked to a couple of guys that were in the big tent with the new Solstice, and they said GM told them the sc would be out by November. Course, I have heard many stories about this thing and they have all been different.
Bob Kern told me 6 weeks and all GM dealers will have them... they are being boxed now and will ship in 6 weeks....

I guess we'll have to actually see. But with everyone being told something different I'm leaning towards agreeing with Roddy P about it being close to 2-3 years (not really, but I bet 3+months for sure).
