Got the right boost switch last week, finally had some time to test out the new switch. I had the kit (www.coolingmist.com) hooked up a while ago, i just had the wrong boost switch. Anyways i tested out the boost switch (water hose under wiper and go out for a beat run and see if it sprays under boost). Worked fine/ came on at 4psi. SO i cleaned up the wires under the hood, ran the hose to the checkvalve and then to the injector in the intake pipe rubber elbow. Tested it to see how the injector works(ground the boost switch NO3 prong) and it was a awesome mist/ pretty neat looking. With the tank and pump in the trunk, it still sprays instantly, i was impressed. Plus the fluid will stay outta the engine bay heat, and there wasnt much room for me to mount stuff up front.
(injecting -20 windsheild washer fluid).
Anyways went on my way to work and turned on the switch and punched it up the on ramp and man o man i noticed it. So i got off of work and it was colder out and i tested it out again. Dammmmmmn it pulls hard now. I want to say i seen almost 6-psi/ little over 5.(stock gm s/c pulley) I have never seen that b4, at least not back to back runs. Usually i see 4.5 ish and the more i pound on it the more towards 4psi goes. The power up top feels so much smoother now . I will do some testing with the auto x ray to see intake temps and timing, but from what i felt, it feels so much better and i feel safer now againest detonation and heat problems. Son of a beatch screams now!
So two thumbs up from me.
happy boosting
