Help me please I cant get the reflash unless the dealer and i fax over a copy of the receipt to gm. they just wont give us the VCI #. Can anyone please send me a copy of their receipt? I cant be a boosted j without it. Help a brother out. Email it to dcstang67@aol.com

WTF? Why do they need the receipt? Can't you tell them you bought it used?
Will your dealer do it if you've got the VCI number? You can find it here if you search. I'm pretty sure it's been posted a few times.
the vci # is specific to your vin someone elses vci will not be the same
Not true.... I got the VCI # off here and gave taht to the dealer. They didnt ask for a copy of my receipt or anything... then again I was teh first reflash they did lol
I got the GM reflash and I have the RSM blower. We just called, gave the VIN and the part number for the reflash, and they gave us the vci. Runs great btw

Bought mine used, didn't have a receipt, dealer did my reflash for me.
Call scoggin dickeys in Lobbock, Texas. Ask for the service department.
SO my dealer called me today and told me he was able to get the vci # for my car. But he told me that once he reflashes the computer there is no turning back, so i think i will order the right map sensor to go with the reflash. I have an aftermarket 2 bar and a gm map for a cobalt ss but i am unsure either of these will work with the reflash. If anybody has any information on these maps and the reflash please let me know.
you can always flash it back. And you can also drive with just the reflash. it'll run rich and want to stall, but it'll work. As far as the map sensors, I would stick with the gm s/c one
